Meet Aeon

Meet Aeon introduces a new large-scale sculpture by artist David Spriggs in the atrium of Simcoe Place, Toronto. Layered sheets of burnished bronze aluminium form the shape of an eye, one that seems to shift as you move around it and catches the light as the day changes. Inspired by aion, the ancient Greek word for eternity, the piece doesn't tell you what to see. Some find a gateway, others find time itself. The film slows down long enough to let you find your own.
